Comprehensive Hull Maintenance
We started by sandblasting the vessel’s hull from the waterline to bulwarks on both sides (170m²), ensuring a clean and smooth surface. We then applied a grey primer and a black coal coat to provide long-lasting protection against corrosion. The waterline, draft marks, and vessel name were also refreshed to ensure optimal visibility and durability.
Marine Fitting Overhaul: Precision and Expertise
Our team expertly managed the overhaul of the vessel’s marine fittings, including:
- Removal and reinstallation of rudders and propellers
- Fabrication and installation of new rudder bases, pins, and propeller secure nuts
- Replacement of cutlass bushings and tail shafts on both sides of the vessel
- Installation of 20 10kg anodes to combat corrosion and ensure vessel longevity
